Why Is My Soundcloud Upload Taking So Long

   Hi all,

   I've recently created a soundcloud account for my band, and so that I tin upload songs (obviously) to share with prospective venues for gigs.

   I'm having an issue where the upload time is quite tedious and, more chiefly, the song will upload get anywhere from 2%-98% uploaded and and so reset itself and start again from 0%.

   Is this common with soundcloud? Do the residuum of you lot experience this?

   Thank you for the info.

   My connexion has been tedious lately. The phone company has tried to set up it but, no luck.

   Ane matter I did do was switch from Firefox to I.E. when uploading . Adept new is that all uploads
   to 100%, albeit a fleck slowly. Bad news is when I press "save", I go the error message " asset_data parameter, or uid and original_filename parameters."
   I have no idea what that means or how to fix it. Searching their help pages came up with nothing specific.

    Their list of uniform file types is pretty long but just in instance?

18. Endeavor using the "legacy" interface. It seems to work more reliably than the new ane. Click on the configuration icon in the upper right hand corner and and then click on "Switch back to Classic."

    I'thou using .wav files, definitely on their list. I have been able to upload some files, just others get error letters.

    Also, I use the old interface, and not the new.

26. One affair that actually ticks me off about Soundcloud is the lack of an RSS feed. I uploaded a spoken-give-and-take weblog and emailed 3 times for approval to receive an RSS feed equally this is the process for getting one. They never bothered to respond to any of the mails. From my perspective, that sucks in the customer service department and I'll be danged if I'g going to pay this company money to expand my use of their platform. With that and the bug in uploading files, a large Thumbs Downwards to Soundcloud.

    Hmmmm.

    I tried simultaneously uploading 4 songs at the aforementioned time. Clicked on upload, went to work.
    Came dorsum, 3 uploaded but with problems and could not be saved.
    1 uploaded only fine.

    The one that uploaded fine had issues earlier in the day when I tried to upload it.

    seems to be hit or miss for me.

    I ended upwards converting my .wav vile to mp3 files and they uploaded within 1 infinitesimal per song and saved no trouble.

55. I deceit apply soundcloud. I fabricated an business relationship and before i even uploaded a vocal, I couldn't log in anymore because it says incorrect password which is incommunicable since I ever utilise the same 1 everywhere online and I tried whatever possible variation of information technology anyhow (like when they require a capital letter letter or a number) and i tried to have them reset and send me new passwords and it NEVER worked. I contacted customer service like 5 times and that'due south all they tried and I never got a countersign reset at Whatsoever e-mail address I told them to ship them to. I hateful they said they did it but I just never got through anywhere (and no its not in spam). Then I asked to delete my business relationship so i could make another and they simply insisted on trying the password ******** again. So I said shag 'em. I hateful, I want to use the same band name and accost then unless they delete my account I tin't. Based on my horrible feel with them I don't even want a soundcloud anymore. What is so shaging hard about deleting my account?

59. The good folks at Soundcloud are shutting down "Classic" fashion. If this fixes the new mode, fine. Otherwise, two thumbs down for blocking us from the more reliable interface. Hither is the email that came in last night:
